What's in my Diaper Bag? And tips on how to Organise it
So I like my diaper bag to be AS organised as possible so that a) I have everything and b) I know exactly where it is. Splitting the bag into pockets / sections makes this possible:
Section 1: Items of Clothing
- Extra clothes in case of any major spillages (x2 vests, x2 baby grows, socks)
- A cardigan in case the weather turns or the AC is too strong
- Baby hat (if new born), because they can easily fall off
- Muslin Cloth
- Extra Bib
- Baby Blanket
Section 2: Baby Changing (find many of these products in our Newborn Essentials List)
- Extra Nappies (always have at least 2)
- Wipes (both cleaning, for surfaces if you have to change your baby or want to sanitise, and wipes for baby changing)
- Mini Baby soap
- Mini Nappy rash cream
- Portable Changing Matt
- Nappy Sacks
Section 3: Feeding
- Baby Bottles
- Extra Teat in case yours falls on the floor and you aren't able to sanitise
- Formula inside a Formula Dispenser
- Mini Flask (with sterilised water, or to use for hearing a bottle on the go)
Section 4: Play
- Baby Rattle or Soft Toy
Section 5: Safety & Care
- Baby Sunblock
- Plasters
- Insect Repellent
- Foldable Sun Hat
Section 6: Toddler (if applicable)
- Snack
- Portable Toilet Seat
- Water Bottle
