A 2-minute Homemade Bread Recipe That Changed My Life

Anything that saves me time (and calories) is a win-win in my opinion, and this recipe sounded far too good to be true so I had to try, and I'm thrilled to report it worked like a total dream.

Now this really is no exaggeration, it takes 2 minutes to put together and will quite quickly become your breakfast go-to. I have three words for you: Magic Flax Bread. It really is magic.

For one serving you will need:

  • 3 tbsp flax meal
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Method:

  • Combine the flax meal and egg in a small, round bowl (the bowl is important as this is what will form the shape of the bread)
  • Whisk well, and add in the baking powder
  • Let rest for 1 minute
  • Microwave on high heat for 2 minutes
  • Once microwaved, it will easily pop-out of the bowl, and resemble somehting like an English muffin. Let is cool and slice down the middle forming two "slices"
  • Toast the slices and add with any topping you desire, or make a flax bread sandhwich!
